Executive Biography

Gene Musgrove

 Gene successfully managed information technology departments in both small and large companies.  He worked for consumer products, distribution and manufacturing companies.  Gene implemented systems in international manufacturing and distribution facilities.  He has a results-oriented management style with a proven record of accomplishment of developing technological solutions to support business objectives.


Gene earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Oklahoma.  He is a member of Pi Mu Epsilon Honorary National Mathematics Society.  Gene taught Managerial Accounting at Northcentral Technical College in Wisconsin, Mathematics at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Accounting at ITT Technical Institute.


Gene is the past President of the United Way of Taylor County and a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals.

Results - Achievements

  •  Saved companies dollars by:
    • Completing J.D. Edwards World implementation project on schedule and $100,000 under budget with benefits that included hard dollars, associate effectiveness and organizational effectiveness.
    • Completing J.D. Edwards OneWorld (PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne) implementation project by extensively training internal staff avoiding over $500,000 in external contracting costs.
  • Implemented the following application system packages in multiple companies – System Software Associates’ BPCS System, J.D. Edwards, Lawson Financial Software and Silvon DataTracker Data Warehouse.
  • Implemented systems in acquired businesses including locations in Germany and Belgium.
  • Developed multiple custom systems including:
    • A Direct-Store-Delivery Route Accounting System using hand-held computers.
    • A Notes System that provided flexible, repeatable data on documents facilitating communications between departments.  PeopleSoft used the system for their base product.
    • A Finished Goods Inventory Management System that provided custom labels for customers, lot tracking, inventory visibility and shipping accuracy while greatly reducing the manual data entry effort to manage inventory.
    • An Automated Customer Drop Shipment System that guaranteed 100% shipping accuracy and automated package tracking with the parcel carrier.
  • Developed corporate informational websites.  Designed a website shopping cart system.
  • Selected and implemented Computer Associates’ Allfusion 2E (Synon 2E) and J.D. Edwards’ Object Management Workbench (OMW) system development productivity tools to reduce IT staff.
  • Experienced in multiple system software operating systems, hardware platforms, programming languages, productivity software and telephone systems including VOIP, call centers, PBX.
